William Shatner is about to become the DMV’s worst nightmare starring in the romantic comedy film Senior Moment, to be directed by Giorgio Serafini and produced by Gina G. Goff. The screenplay is written by Kurt Brungardt and Christopher Momenee.
The movie will be shot in Palm Springs, California beginning April 24, 2017.
Shatner plays Victor Martin, a retired Top Gun Navy pilot who tested aircraft for NASA. After speeding around town in his vintage convertible hot rod with his best friend in tow, he gets caught in a major crackdown to get dangerous senior drivers off the road. With his car impounded and license revoked, the DMV just messed with the wrong SOB!
After being forced to take public transportation, Victor ultimately meets the love of his life, Caroline Summers, played by Jean Smart. Desperate to get his old life back and with the help of his old friend Sal Spinelli, played by Christopher Lloyd, Victor fights to get his beloved car and driver's license back.
This hilarious comedy is slated to be released early next year.
“I’m thrilled to be working with this group of talented people. I’m really looking forward to making a wonderfully funny movie,” said Shatner.
“William Shatner is an amazing actor and legend. We could not be happier to be working with him,” added Goff.
